These tools are electric-powered pallet trucks, specially designed for the movement of machinery weigning up to 10 tons. The size of the tool is 2.5m (L) x 1.25m (W) x 0.15m (H) and has the ability to lift up to a height of 0.30m with a SWL of 10,300 kg. They are wrapped in stainless steel so that they can be used in clean rooms. The stainless steel keeps the machine and the clean room dust free. All our tools are tested before each use to ensure their high level of performance and safety during actual use.
Electric-Powered Pallet Truck With Scissor Lift
This is an electric-powered pallet truck with scissor lift. It has the ability to lift up to a maximum height of 1.10m. Before the use of every tool, the tools are tested by a professional engineer (PE) to ensure the highest standard of safety.
The statue was moved using the electric-powered pallet truck with scissor lift. One advantage of using this tool is that it is particularly useful where the use of forklifts or cranes is not possible.
This tool consists of two inverted “T” frame. It was specially designed to lift a kettle weighing 50 tons. It consists of two frames which are fixed on rail rollers and assisted by four 20 ton chain blocks. The kettle was hoisted by the chain blocks and subsequently placed in the ground.
This is an inverted “T” frame in the process of being tested for its safe working load (SWL) by a PE. The approved SWL is 30 ton. It is used to lift heavy machinery when the use of crane is not possible. In order for the tool to be used, the test is performed yearly to ensure safety. In this instance, the tool was used to lift an 8 ton chamber.
This “U” shaped frame is designed to raise the chamber to a height of 1.50m above the ground in order to overcome the obstruction of other machineries, which protrude out of the floor as it is being moved to the nearest window by rollers. The approved SWL is 11 ton. It can be used to complement the inverted “T” frame as shown below.
With the help of rail roller, the “U” shaped tool raised the chamber in order for it to move over another chamber before exiting through the nearest window.
In situations where the use of cranes is not allowed, a special tool has to be used to shifting of the tree or any machinery.
In this case, a tree had to be moved from a garden in front of former Marco-Polo hotel. Since it was impossible for a crane to enter the area, the custom-made tool (as shown below) had to be used.
This special structure frame is used to help in the lifting, moving and assembling of a SMG 1000 hydraulic press machine, weighing 90 tons, with a height of 8.50m. The use of cranes was prohibited as it was imperative to keep the building structure intact. As the floor to ceiling height of the building was only 5.80m, the machine had to be assembled in the building with the use of the special structure frame. There are rail rollers beneath the tool which makes the moving and assembling of the machinery much easier.
The crown of the machine (weighing 26.50 ton) is assembled using the special structure frame. An experienced engineer from Germany who oversaw the whole process was surprised that we were able to assemble and move the machinery without the use of a crane! He told us that it was the first time he had seen machines being moved and assembled in this manner.
This lift truck is used to move machines to a height of up to 3.2m. It was being tested yearly by a PE to ensure operational safety.
This is an example of how a lift truck is used. It was being used to lift the statue from a higher to lower ground. Where the use of forklift and cranes is not possible, the lift truck is a good and safe alternative.
The orange platform, which has a SWL of 11 ton, is used together with the crane to lift machinery. It is useful when the machine is fragile and cannot be suspended to the crane directly. The machinery is thus placed on the platform (and not tied to the crane directly), thereby preventing any possible damage to the machinery.
The tool below is an electric-powered hydraulic heavy-duty roller. As shown above, it is being tested for its SWL before use. In this instance, the tool is used in the shifting of a Bruderer stamping machine.
Kim Lee Transport a private owned company offering movers and transport services. Throughout the 14 years, we dealt with projects specializing in movement of machinery plant, namely machinery moving, machinery lifting, machinery shifting, machinery installation, Specialize (Machinery) Handling . In 1995 Kimly Machinery Pte Ltd was formed to cater movers services for special and larger equipments.
We are able to orchestrate the entire machinery movement from assembling and dissembling, handling and dismantling, packing and delivery, lifting and lowering, transporting, on-site and off-site installation of client’s machines or equipments. At every step we take, we ensure the safety of both clients’ machineries and our team members.
