At Kimly Machinery, we are experienced in handling many kinds of machinery. We also handle the delivery of transformers. In addition to providing our services in Singapore, we have also moved transformers in Sibu, Sarawak, as shown in the photographs. |
  |

We provide the delivery of stamping machines, like Aida and Bruderer.

As the height of the press machine (weighing 23 tons) was taller than the door, it had to be moved in at an angle before it was repositioned into an upright state. |

In 1992, we were asked to install and assemble a SMG 1000 hydraulic press machine at the Diethelm Industries, Alexandra Road. The heaviest component of the machine was the crown which weighed 26.50 ton. It took us a total of 8 days to complete the assembling and moving of the machine.

As you would have realised, there are often constraints in moving and assembling machinery. One of the common constraints is that the use of cranes is often not allowed. At Kimly Machinery, we are able to fully capable of working within such constrains. The installation of Aida press machine shown here demonstrates our ability to assemble of the crown of the press machine without resorting to the use of cranes. |

We provide the moving of transformers. In this project, we shifted a transformer weighing 235 ton for a power station at Pulau Seraya. The whole process involved the shifting and positioning of the transformer. |

|
| |
Besides delivery and installation, we also provide shifting and unpacking services.

At Kimly Machinery, we are equipped to work around any obstacle we face. While it would be easier to shift items with cranes, it is not always possible. That is why we have custom made tools to provide you with a wide range of services. It may appear straightforward to shift a tree, but where the use of cranes is restricted, we were nevertheless able to shift the tree from its original location.

We are also experienced in shifting bulky and fragile items like transformers. The transformer, shown above, was moved to an area near the assigned position. It was then lowered onto a set of four 100 ton heavy duty rollers. The transformer was then pushed into position with the help of the rollers.

In cases where the height of the machine (in this instance, we were asked to move an Aida NC2-160 Press for the Epson factory at Quality Road, Singapore) exceeds that of the door, we are able to push the machine through the door in a horizontal position. Once in the building, the machine is then erected in the building with the help of an inverted “T” frame and two 20 ton chain blocks.

Religious statues are not a problem for us too. We are as careful in handling them as we are at heavy machinery.

At the Pasir Gudang SNC factory, the 60 ton boiler was shifted into position after being lowered onto the rail roller with the help of two 50 ton hydraulic jacks. The boiler was being pushed into position on the rail rollers by four 20 ton rollers.

At Kimly Machinery, we handle large machinery including transformers, chillers, compressors, stamping machines and precision CNC lathe. Some of the stamping machines that we have handled are Aida, Komatsu, SMG, Amada and Bruderer. With the use of in house designed tools, we are able cater to the different needs of our clients.

We take great care in ensuring that the items we handle are not damaged. It is also equally important to take into consideration the surrounding structure. In once instance, we had to be extra careful not to damage the flooring of the temple. In order to protect the flooring, we used a mixture of plastic, plywood and aluminium sheets to prevent the scratching of the marble surface as well as to distribute the weight of the tools we were going to use in moving the statue evenly across the surface. We take great care in making sure that each and every of our customer’s demand is met; every detail, however small, is not overlooked by our professional team. |

(Pole Technologies Pte Ltd, at Tuas Road in 1991)
With the help of inverted “T” frames and four 20 ton chain blocks, we were able to shift and position a 50 ton kettle (with dimensions of 14.32m (L) x 2.3m (B) x 2.6m (H)) into the ground.

For safety reasons and to prevent the machine from toppling, it had to be secured to the “I” beam at the bottom. It was then pushed out of the factory before being lifted by a crane.
